Way too long of a book. Need more plot. Baby is said so much it's nauseating.

I’d seen this book all over Instagram and decided to see if the hype was legit. Spoiler alert: IT IS. Funny banter, emotionally layered character connections, found family, FIVE ALARM SPICE. It was good! You definitely gotta read the prequel novella though, or Jake is gonna come on a bit strong without the context of his backstory with Rachel.

I loved this book, I loved their dynamics - but the grammatical errors drove me NUTS! Took off a star because of it.

One reason I’m giving this book 3 stars is that, it took me SO long to read it. I read 600+ pages books in a month tops and this one just dragged for me. I kept putting it off because I guess I’m just not really into polyamory. Honestly Rachel and Jake got in my nerves a good portion of the book and I just can’t justify Jake being a needy pup and Rachel being a brat.
I’m not going to get into much more because honestly the only thing that saved this book from a flat out 1-star review was Mars’ plot and Caleb being sassy.
