I chose activity no.1 because I’ve been thinking about achieving the ideal day for a while. It was challenging to figure out how I would draw this because I had to get clear about my ideal day first. I wanted to simplify the exercise, so I thought about the feelings I want to experience most days. Or the things I wanted to do. I want balance, movement and creativity in my daily life. Any ideal day, would include those three things.

While I was painting, I realized that it’s a lot easier to have those experiences often, and that what holds me back is fear of failure or fear of not doing it consistently and perfectly. The realization that I’m hard on myself and that I don’t always allow myself to enjoy good experiences. Because I always feel like there’s more work to do.

I also think I have a lot of fears that I haven’t been able to name yet. More to explore in the future.

Another great story from Riley Hart! I loved Depth of Field and Color Me In didn't disappoint! This one had everything I look for in a great love story, it was sweet and emotional and Sexy with enough steamy scenes to keep you interested but not be too many. Riley Hart has definitely become one of my favorite authors and has never disappointed me yet. This one wasn't any different and I can't wait for more! I recommend this one!

Ryan - it was so interesting to read about his journey of discovering his truth. He definitely wasn’t an open book but he desperately wanted to be with someone he could trust.

Caleb was such a good guy. He really went through it after his parents moved him away. He became such a strong person and offered this incredible patience with Ryan. He never pushed him and really did open himself up to being hurt. He was willing to be hurt in order to help Ryan and build that relationship.

I loved these two together. I loved how Caleb offered unwavering support and never made Ryan feel bad about taking his time. Ryan have Caleb that friendship he craved and never judged him for his colorful past.

Great Story

I like this series. Caleb and Ryan made a great couple. I like how Ryan was demisexual, which isn’t a term used in many books. I’m glad Hart chose to include this in her story.
