This book was fine, I think there are a lot of people that would love it - I think in my current state of mind + preferences it just isn't what I wanted. The characters never really clicked for me, and a lot of this book depended on you really loving the characters + their relationships with each other. I just felt like the part where they all 'bonded' happened too fast, and the rest of the book was too slow. It was too long for me.

4.5

This is a 4.5 star book for me.
A book about the unwritten library in Hell.
It a story about unconditional love for others and that a journey of the unknown even if you have no idea what will happen. You still go because you want to save your friends because they become your family. It shows that you find family even if they don’t know and you don’t know they are.

I loved the references and the characters. Such a fun story to read.

I loved the start of this book and the author's humour but it failed to continue grabbing me as it went on. I felt like a lot of the major developments were hampered by a lack of character development so the stakes felt very low.

mom said we had 'good omens' at home. good omens:

anyways, this book started off rocky but really picked up quality and plot as the story continued. i really enjoyed the second half of the book; i'm glad i didn't put it down at the 100 page mark.

this is a series, so i will continue on to the second novel! wahoo! nothing like a fantasy series to start off the year.
