Truly Madly Guilty

I enjoyed the different characters in the book and learning about the different characters backgrounds but I felt like the book was more slow pace and it did not draw me in as much . I am going to be looking out for more of Lianes books to see how different her other books are in comparison to truly madly guilty , just thought this book was a bit too slow for me . ⭐️

i enjoyed Oliver’s character and how accepting he was towards Erikas situation and past . I have empathy for Harry’s situation and what he went through and the ending was sad when he was trying to save someone else . I enjoyed the concept of Oliver and Erika choosing their marriage and making compromises and how then that pushed Clementine to chose her marriage. How Sam was able to get help with the PTSD from the BBQ . I just feel like the book was a slow pace but also felt rushed at the end ?? Although I really like the ending of how Erika and Oliver adopt , giving a child a better life rooting from Erika and Oliver’s childhood , I think that was a really nice ending just felt a bit rushed .I think I was expecting a more dramatic event then what happened at the BBQ so I kind of feel a bit like someone else wrote in their review unsatisfied ? Although I found the ending satisfying .

I have read a few of Moriarty's books, and tend to enjoy them. If nothing else, she provides a pretty easy and entertaining read.
This book was not one of her good books. I had high hopes (it does have quite a few pages, and really draws out the character development), but they fell flat pretty quickly.
Truly Madly Guilty starts off slow, gets pretty interesting in the middle, only to fall completely flat at the end. The climax was, well, anticlimactic.
It was a pretty boring read, if not pointless. 1.5 stars

This book was emotional from start to finish, Liane Moriarty did an amazing job giving so much life and personality to these characters that I felt as if I knew them.
The twists and turns within the book were so unexpected and it kept me hooked from start to finish. I love the writing style and will most definitely be reading more from this author!
Highly recommended!
