Really good alternate reality story. Pacing was excellent and the book moved quickly throughout. Main idea posed is: What would the world look like if Japan conquered the United States with Germany? The failing of morals and the fallout of war along with both sides spiraling into ever increasing violence made for a very interesting read. The descriptions of the torture (don't worry not grossly depicted) allowed one to imagine what was going on without being subjected to reading gross details for pages on end. Really good world building here.
