I love the ending of this! I'm not the biggest fan of the writing style and I feel like it's partially due to the translation but I really liked the setting and the atmosphere. I wish the plot was a little more complex and charactes developed a bit more but I overall enjoyed it quite a lot. More than I expected to. And I love how graphic some descriptions are, Ammaniti doesn't shy away from describing ugly and dirty scenes.
A sweet bedtime story giving kids the tools to express how they feel if they are too nervous to explain them themselves.
