Once I was about halfway in, I couldn't put it down. Suddenly, it was 1:30 in the morning. Reading before bed is dangerous, kids!

I wasn't sure how to classify this: it's not a mystery, it's not "just" fiction, and I dislike the category "thriller" for ~reasons~. That left me with horror. As horror goes, it's on the lighter side--not TOO gory--but it does get scary and there are some gross and very disturbing moments.

I enjoyed the heck out of this book. Whee.
