I know a lot of people really love this series, but I don't think it was really my cup of tea. It definitely gives me ACOTAR vibes, though, so I can see why it is so popular on social media. I just wasn't necessarily ready for the spice level, and it wasn't really what I was looking for. But I still had to know how the entire series was going to end.

I will say, Maniscalco took this in some directions I wasn't necessarily expecting, which is refreshing! There's a little bit of mythology thrown into this fantasy world, and I enjoyed those aspects of the story. The world building was very well done, even if I found the characters annoying sometimes.

All in all, I'm glad I read it so I know what I'm recommending when at work, but probably not one that I would visit it again.

I loved the first two books, but was disappointed by this one.
The story dragged on, the plot jumped all over the place and felt confusing with all of the side plots being brought up and then dropped again.
I still feel like I didn’t fully understand everything that happened, and at one time I had to google for explanations.
Then there is a trope being used I wasn’t a fan of, but what I thought was even worse is that the author didn’t go through with it and basically took it back at the end, basically erasing any importance that trope had in the first place.
I still love the world the author build for this series and Emilia’s and Wrath’s relationship.
There were some fun plot twists and I was happy with the way Emilia’s and Vittoria’s story turned out. I also liked that some characters, that didn’t seem too important in the first books, were brought back and had a bigger part to play.
I’m glad I finished this series, but I thought it deserved a better ending.

Huge disappointment, sadly. The adventure and mystery of the first two books is replaced with smut and lenghty declarations of love in this third and last installment. What I thought would be an epic conclusion fell completely flat, and the conclusion of the plot (what was left of it between all the smut) was way to easy.
It’s by far not my worst reading experience but it is bitter. It’s.. ok but it had soooo much potential so ”ok” just feels worse than it actually is.

Sort of a disappointing  end of the series. The first half had me gripped and I did read this book in a day so it did hold my attention but I did not like how the curse was broken and I  feel like there are some things that were not flushed out. Wrath also changed from such an alpha in the first half of the book to like a puppy dog the 2nd half. It was sort of weird
