What a magical and horrible way to end the book. I'm glad I don't have to wait for the next one to be written because waiting for that book would kill me.

Splintered was a favorite last year, so, I was excited to get my hands on the second installment. As with the last book, I plowed through it and was sorry when it ended. I loved all the family history and how the big picture is slowly being revealed.

Okay this one had a lot of important information, but was waaaaaaay too real world based.  Kind of a lot of woe is me, whininess until finally around 75-80% through it became more Wonderland based. It wasn't baaaaaaad, don't get me wrong. Like I said, there is a LOT of important information given... her parents, M, Jeb, other Wonderland folk... but most of it took place innnnnn the real world. *sigh* HOWEVER  the ending totally made up for it. 😅 Wowza, that was a LOT going on annnnnnnd the cliffhanger style ending was 😚🤌 Moving on to book 3 now!

Ok, I'm the one getting mad here! I need the 3rd book now! Morpheus is just great <3 I love him! But Jeb won my heart (sorry). Let's see what comes next.

I didn't like this book as much as I loved the first. It lacked something I couldn't quite put my finger on. The ending however was something I didn't see coming though I should have.
Even so it was an entertaining read on a 6 hour train ride. It's still dark and lovely, I guess I just expected more.
