As unlikely a story this is, Zaire’s has made it plausible. I like Marcus’s obsession and Emma’s deer in the headlights response.

I'm kinda annoyed by this heroine

New to me author Anna Zaires pens an emotional and thought provoking story of Marcus and Emma who mistakenly connect and find their expectations for love may be skewed. Rich in content and drama, Sebastian York and Ava Erickson elevated this book to something even greater than it could be on its own. Can't wait to see what happens in the 2nd book of the duet.

DAMN IT - ITS A 2 PARTER! I knew that when I bought the first book but forgot when I started reading until I got to the last page and ... to be continued. Luckily the 2nd book is already out but its $6 on kindle. fine - just take my money so I can find out what happens to these 2 dummies who won't just talk. WHY DIDN'T SHE JUST TEXT HIM INSTEAD OF JUST ASSUMING HE GHOSTED HER?!?! THREE DAYS AND SHE DECIDES ITS OVER. WTF?

I was expecting smut... and I have to say it was a let down. There were a few steamy scenes but all in all not my favorite. Slow beginning and cliff hanger ending. I don’t think I’ll be picking up the second book. This is a pass for me.

A bit of a slow start but the relationship became more interesting in the second half. It's a good, chilled read for summer

Cliffhanger

Really I have no one to blame but myself. I usually look into books a little better and I wish I had done so with this one. It was a good book but I absolutely hate reading book with cliffhangers unless all books have been released. With all that being expressed I will prob continue reading this once all books have been published.
