One of the most entertaining, gripping and tense books I’ve ever read…..but then there are a hundred more pages… and a shit ending…

This had none of the qualities I look for in a near-future story. I finished it to solve the mystery but I did not enjoy reading this. This was a terrorism book.

Both the plot and the characters are so scary realistic. I can not believe I said this for a Sci-fi thriller. But the conspiracies, the politics, the classes among our society, the way we judge a person good or bad simply by their look or status or just some filtered facts are just so real. It does not feel like a fiction, that’s why it’s so blunt and cruel. I can not decide on one single person in this book that I should love her/him or hate her/him. Beside the big twist at the end, there’s couple tasty little twists and turns all through the book, I enjoyed everyone of them, it’s like you know something is going to happen that you are scared yet excited and you don’t know if you want to savor it or to get it over. This is the kind of book, you could not put it down but in the same time you don’t want it to end. Highly recommended!

I don’t think I’ve ever read something with THAT MANY plot twists. Wow!!!! This was amazing start to finish. Couldn’t put it down and the themes discussed are very terrifying w the way technology continues to evolve. Watch out, y’all.

It’s official.. John Marrs is one of my all time favorite authors!
I’v read The one earlier this year and I absolutely loved it, it instantly became a favorite. However, I didn’t think that I would love The passengers even more! It felt like a long black mirror episode, I loved the social commentary and how different the characters are. I couldn’t put it down and finished it in a day.
John Marrs became an auto-buy, auto-read for me.
