Heroine's guilt irritated me to no end. Major consent issue midway through the book got a little emotional response but no resolution.
Really not ok, on top of other consent problems in earlier books I can't read any more. The whole series has been iffy on consent but there are some clearly over the line scenes (abduction, performative rape by a secondary character, forced sex with an audience, forcing a male to have anal against his will, etc).

Is an erotica book supposed to make you cry? I loved this book, I loved the story and the characters. It made me laugh, pissed me off and completely lose my shit crying. Not bad for alien erotica.
