I see more, why people call this essentially an ACOTAR light series. I agree now. For me, it has a more acceptable level of spice description and is therfore preferable. 

I thought the character development in this was slow, but in the end I did find that I like the male characters whereas prior I didn't think either were a good match. They are simply complex and it took a while for the likable bits to come about. 

A lot was happening but the book did not feel rushed. It was hard to see this being a duology with just 50 minutes of audiobook left, but it wrapped up neatly in a way I didn't expect but loved.
