Fun, quick little read. Spends 2-3 pages on each Christmas character. First half of the book feels a bit repetitive, as many of the folklores are pretty similar, and located in the same areas, but it diversifies a bit more in the second half.
Short and interesting I just don't think audiobook is a good format for this. This would be better as a book you read 1-2 chapters a day and I do think that's the intention as it does get rather repetitive otherwise

2.5 stars rounding up to 3. This was not what I was expecting - I expected a selection of scary stories related to Christmas time, what I got was really just a list of the various darker folktales centered around winter. It was interesting enough, if a bit repetitive and definitely seemed more geared towards middle grade or YA readers.
