This was a great ride. I didn’t want to put it down from the second I started. Time to pick up book 2.

Audiobook. I’m not exactly sure why I liked this book so much but I thought it was fun. Entertaining had an interesting story and different than anything. I’ve read recently looking forward to the next one.

It’s light, cheesy, popcorn sci-fi with just enough awareness to make you pause every now and then and realize it’s trying to make a point. A great vacation read.

It works almost as a reflective essay about humankind (one-self, religion, conflicts, feelings, the questions of being), their environment, and our relationship with it.

Mickey 7 is an expendable, meaning he gets all the dangerous, life ending jobs, and then after he's killed, they bring him back in a cloned body. He's died 6 times. Its funnier than it sounds, told in a lighthearted way.
