Ed Catmull seems like a nice guy. He's smart, open-minded, daring and obviously extremely successful at what he does. I expected a bit more from this book, as I believe it was highly praised by Brené Brown in one of her books. But this didn't wow me; there wasn't anything particularly ground-breaking or fascinating. While I was still interested in knowing how Pixar dealt with challenges and problems in their company, many times it was simply repetitive and a little dull. But hey, Pixar already provides much entertainment through their films, maybe I'm asking too much.

The idea that I found most interesting was how every department in a company has their own agenda and how it is important that all these agendas are balanced and neither of them wins. If a department's goal wins, then it means the company as a whole will have lost because the other agendas will have to be compromised.
