Technically, I would give this book a 3 &1/2 stars. I love the idea, I like the writing, and I like that the art is good and consistent. I don't really like Moon Girl too much, though. Her arrogance and her inability to let anyone talk without butting in annoys me. I did see some growth in this one, I hope it continues.
I don’t know why I liked this volume less than the other two but I did. It just didn’t resonate with me the way the other two did. I did love that Lunella/Moon Girl seemed to be finding herself.
If you completely ignore the bajillion people you’re supposed to know because they have their own comics or whatever it was a pleasant read.

I liked this one the best so far thanks to all the other superhero cameos. Seeing Nightcrawler and Dr.Strange were the highlight of this volume for me.
Loved Luna, loved the hijinks. My problem was there was just too much going on all at once. She had 50 different crossovers in one story? No, that's a bit much, sorry. But other than just throwing way too much in your face, Luna was her normal lovable, crazy, brilliant self and it was awesome. And as for the important plot point we discover, well, we could have guessed that from the title and her name couldn't we?!
This is definitely written with young readers in mind, which is why I suspect we see so many Marvel heroes in one issue. (Though I’ve heard that Marvel loves its team-ups.) But this volume and the series as a whole cane be enjoyed by adults and children. Lunella is such a great, complex character and Devil Dinosaur is a lovable goof! I can’t wait for the next volume!

The team ups keep Moon Girl fresh and allow the story to explore several other corners of the Marvel Universe while keeping our hero and her giant, red best friend grounded in New York.
I really enjoyed the previous 2 volumes but this one felt like a let down. It didn't feel like it had much of a plot and the story that was there was pretty weak compared to the other issues. It could be that the title is aimed for a younger audience, but I really feel like it was more a "filler" volume. I'll still keep this title on my radar, but I won't beat myself up if I don't read it right away.
Awesome sauce
The series keeps getting better and better. Love how all the super heroes come pop in on a Moon Girl. I’m looking forward to reading the entire series. It’s like I get to live my childhood dream vicariously through her!
