I felt that the book started out rather slowly. The reader understood a lot more than the characters did, but it just moved so slowly as they figured things out.
By the second half, things had picked up and the characters more interesting.
I did not see the romance coming, and felt there were quite a few random plot lines, but I overall enjoyed the book.

Really enjoyed it, she kind of reminds me of katniss in the beginning..... but whereas katniss could never really let go and lighten up, yelena does

Not bad at all. This book was not at all what I expected, but then I couldn't put it down. So much was happening. I wish there had been more kissy stuff.
