It's the X-Men thing, but just with psychic powers, and more like the Brotherhood of Hipster Mutants. The art style is pretty good (reminds me of Strong Femal Protagonist, with more lines), the concept is okay, but the writing thinks it's a bit more clever than it really is.

This comic started with an interesting premise but the plot and storyline felt so disjointed and oddly paced. It was ultimately very forgettable.

DNF at 41 pages. Didn‘t like the artwork. The story didn‘t do anything for me, could not be bothered to continue for long or pick it up again after putting it down. It took too long to get interesting. Teens with psychic powers?

I read some reviews before reading this book and some were not as favourable to this graphic novel as I originally thought people would be, but it left me undeterred as I loved the look of the art and colours. - I actually really enjoyed this book, it is about an morally ambiguous group of people with psychic abilities. It delves into characters that follow a blurred line between being good to themselves but bad to most of those around them.

I can see why people are frustrated with this read, especially in regards to how the characters portray themselves and their actions. But it makes me wonder and think about of what I would have done in such situations.

Besides, if people didn't finish it for the story, they certainly should have stayed for the art and design of this book. It flowed perfectly, and the action was portrayed positively violent! Thankfully, sequences that were easier to follow than most action scenes in comics these days. - I especially enjoyed the page breaks between each issue in this graphic novel, with a small design and quoted typography. Nicely done!

I look forward to reading more.

while the art style is really great, the story is nothing new. I get that it's about how on the side society treats outsiders and how they react to that ( sometimes very violently). on the other side it's also about finding your own way, growing up, thinking for yourself.
these are important topics, but somehow I couldn't connect with the story and the characters.

give it a try but don't expect a masterpiece.

There are a lot of ideas in this. This is one of those morality meets superpowers ideas that I always find interesting. Now, there are some murky bits here and there where I wonder what the heck is going on like that random sex scene, but this volume has me intrigued. Every single character is selfish, emotionally wounded, at times, whiny, and always battling their demons. You would not think anyone could like a book where none of the characters are “likable,” but I do. Also, the art style is dope to me because something about it is pleasing to my eyes. I liked the ending, and I will be reading volume 2.

Really liked this. Good characters, interesting story, awesome artwork and food for thought. Inspired a train of thought following a sub-plot that I'd love to write. Keen to see where it's going.

A more violent twist on what people might do if they had superpowers. Good stuff.
