I really enjoyed this book. It was different, and I absolutely did not expect the plot twists. There were definitely parts of it that were pretty dark though, which given that their society was based around ancient Greek culture wasn't too much of a surprise, but still very messed up. It made me gasp and cringe, but in the end only added to the story and how much I felt for the character's cause.

This is, quite frankly, just a poorly written book. Not like problematic or anything, just a poor example of the craft of storytelling
