I loved it so much! its one of my new favorite books, the greek mythology references were great, and i felt so proud whenever I realized what they meant, sometimes I got a little confused about someone's motive for doing something, but I do tend to read too fast and sometimes accidentally skip lines so that's probably on me, and I was able to figure it out once I kept reading

As soon as I heard this book pitched at "Greek mythology mixed with Hunger Games," I was sold. And, for the most part, I throughly enjoyed this novel!

For me, the two main characters (Lore and Castor) felt a bit flat. I couldn't buy their chemistry, either. But, I didn't hate reading about them.

The ending was a bit convoluted, however that could easily be because I struggle to read action scenes.

All in all, I enjoyed this book and want to pick up more by this author!

Sadly, this didn't live up to my expectations.
I was loving most of it, but then that one plot twist was revealed,,, and i just, fell out of love. :((( damn, i feel so sad, I really, really wanted to love this.
I hope I change my opinion with time tho,,

I loved this book and I couldn’t stop reading. Though the start was a little slow but once it got going it didn’t stop. At first I didn’t think I would like Lore but as the book went on I fell in love with her. She wasn’t like the typical young adult heroine where they are all about them. She listened to her friends and didn’t really do that much stupid stuff. Though I do have to say Miles and Van were my two favorite characters. Alexandra Bracken wrote the perfect blend of the old Greek myth with a modern day setting. Her writing was easy to follow and get into. I will be recommending this to all my friends. Thank you Netgalley and Hyperion for letting read and review this book.
