3/4 of the book: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Last 1/4 of the book: ⭐️⭐️

Why oh why did the author have to bring in the “manic pixie girl cures all” trope????

Honestly, the story should have remained focused on Yunjae and Gon, the little side quest with the girl only served to show “Look!! yunjae has hormones now!!” And it really took away from the growing bond between the two boys, the one who feels barely anything and the one who feels too much.

Thankfully, we saw a bit more of their friendship towards the end but the last chapter with the mum honestly had me eye rolling so hard I think I sprained one of them.

Still 4 ⭐️ for the majority of the book, if I reread it, I’ll just make sure to ignore the final act.

Such a cute and easy read. I also enjoyed the authors note and translators note at the end.

Was hoping to read more from this author but looks like this is the only thing she’s done!

Would definitely recommend this book for a “palette cleanser”. Probably not life changing but short and sweet
