Some days you need a plate of nuggies and some days you are a sad nuggie.
A cutesy quick read.

I see that a lot of people really loved this, and I'm glad, because Sad Nuggie memes and videos are my partner's love language. One of the things I love about Sad Nuggie's other forms is how odd and surreal they can be, and how quickly the artist jumps on sound clip trends with absolute goofniess.

To me, this book stuck to the most general slice-of-life vignettes that Millennials and Gen Z will find relatable. A few panels stood out to me, but overall, this was cute but had little else to recommend it. Do I just not enjoy happy things anymore? It's possible.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.

I never thought that I would identify that much with a nugget.

This is an adorable and funny collection of comics following a chicken nugget struggling with mental health issues. This book is heart warming and guaranteed to make you smile and root for the sad little nuggie.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for a review.

Super cute and fun. Also very fast. Probably would be best as a read a page or chapter a day!

This. Is. Too. Cute.
I haven't seen someone succeed in making depresh this adorable in a while.
Sad Nuggie was almost everything I hoped it would be, the more miserable the better. It just felt like it jumped around a lot, I wish there were more transitions between each piece vs beginning w a new section. The -.5 is taken for that reason.

I highly recommend this to anyone looking for an easy chuckle or, as the description already says, anyone who has ever been tired of adulting.

(Thank you bunches to Sad Nuggie, Anastasia Sevastyanova, Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley for the DRC in exchange for my honest review!)

Sad nuggie, a relatable slice of life about being a small chicken nugget who has to deal with "adulting"
This young and new adult chicken nugget takes us on a journey in its daily life, and learning to properly function without much success.
While funny, I found the nugget annoying, so I did not enjoy this comic as much as I intended, however its pretty lighthearted and hopeful perfect for readers who are a bit down and need someone to relate to, this nuggie is ready.

I received this as an ARC through Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review. Thanks!

Adorable, funny and poignant. I'm a sad nuggie and this book was made for me. If you're a sad nuggie, it's made for you too.
