This is my first time reading Stephanie Nicole Norris and friends to lovers is my absolute favorite trope. Loved the premise and really liked the characters and the book definitely held my attention, but this one fell a little short for me. I had more questions than answers at the end of the book. Most of the book was devoted to Jada, but it would have been nice to see more of Solomon than just what he does for Jada. Who has that fine, successful man been dating all these years? Has he just been sitting around waiting for Jada? Does he have other friends? While the Marcus and Melissa storylines were somewhat interesting, it would have been nice to have that space devoted to fleshing out Jada and Solomon’s story.

Having said that, I will definitely try another of this author’s books. Looking forward to Soul and Janice’s stories.

Nothing really stood out for me here.  It was a quick read not a ton of time for much character development or real angst or build up. Maybe I'll try something else that's more significant from this author.
