3.5 MAYBE a 4? There were things I did and did not like but overall this book surprised me being a thrilling sequel that surpasses its predecessor. Snow’s complex character, despite her frustrating flaws, drives a narrative filled with plot twists and creative schemes to dismantle her father’s kingdom. While the plot occasionally jumps around, the overarching story keeps you engaged, especially when you don’t know what will happen next. The ending leaves you on cliff hanger wanting more, but thankfully the series is complete!
