Got halfway through chapter 9 and gave up. All she does is complain and go on and on and on and on about Duncan. I can only handle the inner monologue and obsessive take for so long đź«

A new to me author, I was attracted purely by the cover and I wasn't disappointed.

Quirky, loveable main characters in a too good to be true charming small town/school community.  Nobody for a minute believes that people would behave that way in real life but if you can suspend belief and enjoy the ride this is a fun, lighthearted story of second chances, hope, joy and love.

Good characters and I liked the plot but it was a bit slow and clunky.

I’m new to Katherine Center books. I read “Things You Save In A Fire”, and gave it 5 stars, but I realize now that it was partly because I was starving for feel-good fiction. “What You Wish For” delivers on that the same way, but I can’t quite give it 5 stars because it was so dang predictable. Lovely. But a bit naively bubble gum and certainly too good to be true. But sometimes we need a little summer beach reading that’s leaves you feeling good.
