I need a version of these books without Jace and Clary. This one was more like a 2.5 for me.

For some reason, I kept thinking that this was the last book in the series... oh well, more to read is definitely not the worst thing in the world. Although, I do believe this is my favorite of the series so far, so I really hope the last one is just as good or better. Only one way to find out... time to go book shopping.

Nevím, na co Cassandra Clare při psaní celé téhle série myslela, ale jestli si MYSLÍ, že přežiju to roční čekání na úplně poslední díl, tak se sakra plete!!!!

This book was more of the same from this series. Fun story and enjoyable to read, but repetitive tropes and miscommunications. One more to go!

4.5 to 5 stars. I give it this probably cuz i took 3 months to finish it since i kept getting into reading slumps and just not reading. Still an interesting read, the shadowhunter world just always is. I cant wait to read city of heavenly fire and see what the helll is gunna happen. Hope its a good ending

I’ve found that so far this series had peaked at City of Glass. This book was good, but it did not reach the standard that City of Glass did. I found Clary to be almighty irritating, obsessing over Jace, as if their lives are not being threatened. I really hope the last book is strong for the sake of the original trilogy.
