I sometimes got bogged down in the name dropping, but Jeffrey’s journey from poor Oak Park kid to mega producer focused on expanding the scope of Broadway and making it more accessible for all was nothing short of inspiring. Loved it.

Great hearing the audiobook read by Seller and a fun cast. Ideal for theatre nerd or anyone who wants an inside look at how the sausage gets made.

Jeffrey Seller is the producer behind some of the biggest Broadway shows of the last 35 years, like Rent, Avenue Q, and Hamilton. I loved the audiobook. Seller brought in some of your favorite actors to help narrate his life. Mixed with stories of his childhood, his early days in New York, and some iconic theater moments, this book is the perfect read for any theatergoer.

Fun read! Love the gossip haha. I thought the last section was the most well written. Sometimes the things that are most important us are hard to write about. Or maybe I just didn’t like the style of the first 2 parts because it reminded me to too much of my own :/
