Max has a crush on Water Polo player, Everett. Despite owning the pool maintenance company and not doing pool cleaning/maintenance anymore, he makes the exception for Everett's pool so he can watch him practice. Unbeknownst to Max, Everett also has a crush on Max and finally invites him to dinner. This was so super cute and I really enjoyed watching Max and Everett get to know each other.

Short, fluffy little puff of a book. Not much plot, but that's what I needed for the current stress levels I'm dealing with. Fairly superficial all the way around, but nothing annoying so it worked for a mindless read. Not really a keeper, though.
Pool guy (who is really the company owner and seems to have some unaddressed self-esteem problems) has a big crush on the polo captain son of a Hugh Hefner-type. Polo captain makes dinner for pool boy and for the next month they hang out together along with obligatory female friend. Pool boy thinks that polo captain is going to break up with him (though they aren't dating, so... take away his friendship bracelet?) but polo captain kisses him instead. Six month later epilogue, polo captain is training for the Olympics and comes back to his house to find pool boy cleaning the skimmers, they make out and take some dirty pictures. The end.
Plot holes abound but as long as you don't read to deeply (or get too frustrated with time skips and a bit of tell-not-show), it's a cute time waster.
