This was the first Kasie West book I ever heard of, but By Your Side was the first book of hers that I read and I loved it, felt very touched by its story and fell in love with the characters. I read The Distance Between Us shortly thereafter and wasn't nearly as impressed and I was even less impressed by Love, Life, and The List after that, but she brought me back to Team Kasie with Listen To Your Heart.

I've heard more than a fair amount of people say this is West's best work and it's almost definitely her most popular. It took me maybe a week or two to get By Your Side and The Distance Between Us on Overdrive, but I've been on the hold list for this book for five months, which is the longest I've yet had to wait for a book on Overdrive, so that got my expectations set way, way too high.

This was nowhere near as good as By Your Side, let alone Listen To Your Heart. It's easily better than Love, Life, and The List and tied with The Distance Between Us because they were both rather melodramatic but still had a really cute couple. Better luck with the next one, Kasie!

Unrelated addendum: I'm still convinced Shannon McManus and Callie Dalton are the same person.

It's been a while since I finished reading a book within 3 days! This book was absolutely funny and easy to read! I envied Charlie of her relationship with the brothers. They are one cute and loving family! All the conversations were hilarious, innocent, nonchalant. I definitely recommend this book if you want an easy, fun, fast reading!

Cute story but nothing really special happened. Her story is kind of about self discovery but it’s pretty basic overall.

Such a cute a contemporary! I read in one sitting.

Only Kasie West could make me like this troupe.

“I already told you to stop reading me."
"I can read you because I know you better."
"In your dreams."
"Yes, you've been there, too."
I backhanded him across the stomach, but couldn't help but smile.”

This book was the perfect medicine for me. All of the cute, sweet, yet heartfelt moments really helped bring some sunshine in my life when it's been a bit lacking.

The characters were really well done, especially all of their relationships with each other. In particular, I really liked the bonds Charlie had with her brothers. The romance was just beyond adorable, but that's never a surprise when it comes to Kasie West's novels.
