Well . . . I understand why this series is loved . . . Darius, Seth, Caleb and Max are definitely bullies/assholes who keep torturing the protagonists despite the fact they keep reiterating that they don't want what the precious four are trying so desperately to keep. Are they deaf? Are they incapable of English comprehension? Cause I'm pretty sure Tory and Darcy have been quite clear that they just would like to fly under the radar. Ugh! I want to throttle them all. And I'm on the fence of how I feel about Orion . . .

Unfortunately there wasn’t a lot of plot besides bullying that borderlines abusive.. plus attempted murder and all because the main characters exist in this world. I was just left wanting more from the story. A lot of it felt extremely childish to me, and I wished that some of the names weren’t so cliche. All that said, there were a few saving graces throughout that really made me laugh. I’m giving this book a pass as the first in a series, continuing on to see where it goes from here!

The only thing I can say is that I understand the hype, not the best written book but wow the plot was worth it. If you want something to distract you and fry your brain cells while you enjoy it then this is your book🫢

Umm………it physically hurt to read this book tbh.

I think the world is cool and I love the this vampire diaries/winx club vibe. It was vvveryyyy cringey. I kinda liked the cringe of it all though lmao. But GEEZ! The male characters are awful, cruel, terrible, and have no concept of consent. Bully “romances” are not for me………….but why am I literally going to read the second book

I got absolutely obsessed with this series. I started it after finishing a different series and had no idea what I was getting into but I’m not mad about it. This book caught me quick I listened to it on audio and think I finished the book in two days. I’m currently reading them for the second round. Not a genre I have explored but the authors know how to hook you!!
