gnomely's review against another edition
4.0
really enjoyed this collection. by far my favourites were:
'as a mum' by christie nieman - about the constant judgements and high horses surrounding motherhood and childlessness (in women specifically)
'other people's kids' by emily maguire - about enjoying being around children and caring for them, while also finding joy and meaning in life without any semblance of 'maternal instinct' or any need to have children of your own
'twelve years of looking after luke' by rosie batty - absolutely heartbreaking thoughts from a mum who loses her son to family violence
also main street by Miriam Sved
