I take it back! Alex is my favorite! He beat the crap out of the blackmailer and shot the kidnapper! Finally a man who doesn't leave his problems to come back to bite him in the butt! But were the authorities alerted at any point...of course not.
More importantly, Hannah and Alex have the most adorable sniping!! I love these two so much!! My favorite book in the series by far!!

Listen, I enjoy these books. They’re an easy read, they’re historical (very loosely so don’t come at me) and they’re a romance. It’s simple enough. However, I have noticed that it is essentially the same plot in each book and by book 5, well even book 3, it gets a little tiresome. Having said that, I’m also not too fussed about it. The reading time is fairly short, so if you’re in a bit of a slump and what something easy and lighthearted to read then this series is essentially perfect. There’s not really too much I can add to this review. I liked the hero and heroine together, was waiting for their story since they were both introduced and I could feel their chemistry. Likeable enough overall.
