I really liked the characters in this book. Especially the heroine, Savannah. But for some reason I didn't connect with them as well as I had the characters in the previous books of the series. Unfortunately, I can't even put my finger on the reason either.

Part of me thought Cole was going to have some deep, dark secret that would ruin my views on the Riley family. **Slightly (not really) spoilerish** Yet when it turned out he was just kind of a jerk I was a bit disappointed. Of course, from where this story begins Cole isn't much of the jerk we are led to believe he has been in the past. Maybe that's where the disconnect was? I was being told things about this character but not really seeing them. And although Savannah often made note to herself that he was not at all what she was told, the bad boy image still seemed forced.

I still felt the connection between the characters, especially toward the end of the book. I would have liked to get to know Cole's parents better but I'm sure we'll be seeing them again. All in all it was a good book, it just didn't grab me quite as well as the others.

I have to say this book was not as good as the earlier books in the same series, somehow for me I felt that it went to slow. I don't know but it did not do it for me as the rest but then comparing it with other books this is certainly still in my good books.
Liked it.

I enjoyed this book. There was really nothing tramatic that tore Cole and Savannah apart. They muddled thru it and eventually sorted out their love!
