Trigger warnings for Dracula include: abduction, character death, child death, fear, inprisonment, murder, paranormal creatures and trichotillomania.

I tried to read the full version, at over 18 hours. However, I didn't get very far through it because I couldn't concentrate on it, there was a lot of detail and it was just more than I could listen to.

I switched to the abridged version that's just under 2 and a half hours long. This was easier to get through and I liked listening to it. I read a book earlier this year called The Historian, which went over some of the details of Dracula (my review of that book can be found on my page) so some of it wasn't new to me, but I did find it interesting.

I think part of the reason I found the full version difficult to get into was because of the detail, and I think that's also why I struggle to read classics generally.
