Out of the first 5 books ive read so far. This is my favorite, slightly leading over leviathan wakes. I finished reading it 3 hours ago and im still reeling from it. Absolutely bonkers book. I loved every second of it. For show watchers, season 5 was my least favorite season. In part to do with Naomi's storyline. In Nemesis Games her chapters edged Alex's slightly for being my favorite. I loved the show dont get me wrong, but i cant help mourn for what could've been with more time spent on Naomis side of the show and pretty much everything that was cut due to Cas Anvar (Alexs actor in the show) being a perv. The final chapters being covered in 5 minutes of air time, what a shame that was. So much happened in those chapters and it was a shamed they were cut from the show. Besides a slight lull in book 3, this series has me enthralled and i cant put them down. The differences between show and book werent that huge in the first 3 books. It was enough to keep me interested, but from Cibola Burn on, there's so much they changed in order to make it a better show. For that, i am grateful because it's like reliving one of my favorite shows all over again and improving on it. Ty Franck and Daniel Abraham (together they are James S.A Corey) are amazing writers. God i loved this book. Id give this a 6/5 if it was possible.

A solid and inevitable reread. I don’t often buy books- so far I’ve only ever invested in two book series, and with the conclusion of the fifth Expanse book I now have to save up for buying these guys

As said in other books... nobody was on a waterhauler like the Cantebury for a reason and so some of the crew leaves to go face some of their pasts.
