I turned to the next page and found out it was over. This was a very not good book. Also, what does the cover have to do with anything?!
Four girls—Blakely, Emma, Morgan, and Savannah—form a bond while attending Camp Pendleton. Blakely is determined to seduce one of the older and married counselors. His wife, Regina, ends up killing him bc she thinks he’s molesting the teen girls.
20 years later, they all receive anonymous notes revealing that someone knows what they did. But SPOILER : Blakely sent the notes to everyone because she needed help from her best friends (that she hasn’t spoken to in 29 years) to cover up the fact that she killed her husband. Except SPOILER : He’s not dead. She and her husband planned the whole thing to set them up. Why? I don’t remember.
I smushed together pieces of other summaries:
Regina gets a letter from Meg while in prison, admitting nothing ever happened with her husband and Blakely. When she’s released from prison, Regina goes to Blakely’s to blackmail her. In Blakelys house, Blakely pulls her by her hair backwards on the stairs causing her to fall and hit her head. Blakely tapes her mouth shut to keep her quiet, suffocating her. Her husband Philip, comes home to help get rid of the body. They also killed Blakelys father.
Prior to the killings, Blakely asks her camp friends to gather at her house and confesses she sent the notes they thought were from Regina. Blakely lies telling them Philip was abusive and she was a prisoner at home. Then she tells them she killed Philip to be free and needs their help getting rid of the pieces of his body. Grace leaves but Meg and Thera stay and help. They are given directions on where to dump his body. The police have video of Meg driving Blakey’s father's car to the water and find his blood and teeth in the car and arrest Meg. Grace finds out Blakely lied to them about Philip being killed after seeing their house for sale and a picture of them on a boat in the Caribbean.
Blakely set the women up to take the fall for the killing of her father and having them believe it was abusive Philip's body they were getting rid of.

I love LBerry but this was kind of a miss for me. It felt slow and a little lackluster; I wanted more of the bad stuff and less of the same things about the characters. But I still love her.
