gah

Almost dnf. Too many points of view, and the now/then timeline was hard to follow. Skip this one if you can

The ending so so quick! I thought I skipped a chapter.

The first page almost made me shelf the book, but I am so glad I didn’t! Full of twists and Blakely is NOT to be trusted.

I wanted to read another book by this author and decided to give this one a shot. Usually, I have trouble staying invested in a story when it has time change from past to present back to past, etc. But, i was able to actually stay zoned in to this one. I wanted to punch Blakely in the face, and the story was slower paced. It was mostly unpredictable for me which I loved. And it does a great job on showing how guilt can take over your mind and how peer pressure and manipulation can still effect you as an adult, not just when you're a kid. I put some more of her books on my list to buy in the future. Hopefully they are just as good, if not better. 🙂
