I love reading Elin Hildebrand every summer but I think this may be my favorite book of hers yet! I was interested in every storyline and I loved the way she weaved in memories from the various characters. There was just enough mystery to wonder what was going to happen all the way up to the end. I always say that I would love to see my favorite fictions as movies, but this was one that would truly be fun to see on the screen someday - fingers crossed!

My favorite thing about Hilderbrand’s novels are the vivid way she describes things. I feel like I’m there (and based on the menu descriptions, I wish I was). I wound up being most drawn to Tatum out of the five, but appreciated the growth that (most of) the characters displayed. (Audiobook)

really enjoyed it but felt at times that i just couldn’t relate or sympathize with what was going on, didn’t love Caroline’s story arch, or really most of them, but still felt entertained

Liked it and thought it had a good ending, but occasionally confused the characters or their stories, which partially was probably due to listening on audio vs reading a physical copy. There were also points where it was repetitive (the first time she mentioned the other blog commenters, "what would Paige McGregor from Boise, ID think?" I thought it was cute, but she did it again later and it felt meh.) And I didn't feel like every storyline was strong --- almost like there were too many to keep unique, so they became a bit stereotypical? I still like her books though, fun reads when you're a local / it's 90°out!

4.5 stars for me!! Wonderfully crafted from different points of view with heart warming relationship development
