DNF.  Got through the first chapter and wasn’t engaged at all.  I didn’t care about Holly in the slightest, much less what four of her friends thought of her.

The Five Star Weekend deserves 5 stars. This was a great, fun summer read. Caroline annoyed me very much but, I loved everyone else. I love how it’s told from multiple perspectives, so you never wonder what anyone thinks.

Formulaic, if you like that sort of thing. Drinking, clubbing, adoring old boyfriends who show up, perfect menus, well-appointed home. Snooze. I did finish it, though, so Hilderbrand has a sort of hypnotic effect.
