This book was tremendous fun but I *still* can't keep the characters straight... who's Lottie? Who's her husband? There are only so many times I'm willing to stop and go back and try to figure this out. Anyway... Lily and Leo are getting married, and Frances' secret fiance George offers to host the wedding at his older brother's country estate. The house party is plagued by accidents and misadventure... but are they accidents or are they connected? Lots of love story subplots and the mystery is very well done. I will continue with this series.

Third in the series, I enjoyed this book more than the second. The country setting was a nice change from London, and previous characters appearing added to the fun. This was a very quick, undemanding read, like the others in the series. Just what I needed at the time.

This installment just couldn’t keep me engaged. I thought the mystery was slow to start, there was far too much talking, and I low key hated the family dynamics at play. I think I’m done with this series, the first few were fine enough but I think I’ve got the gist now.

It's a cozy mystery sort of book, a lot of a lady going about her leisure days and not enough hard core investigating, or rather, the investigating was very subtle. They did check crime scenes, questioning suspects, dissecting motives, searching rooms, etc. etc. but it was narrated in such a way that the book doesn't feel like a real murder investigation one.
