the queen of foreshadowing! this small collection of short stories tackles the importance of re-educating men on how to treat and think of women with respect, which is an issue i personally feel really strongly about. claire keegan's works so far feel very academic/book club focused, like they are conversations starters meant to be analyzed and discussed in group, which at the moment is nearly impossible for me so i might not be benefitting from these stories as much as i'd like
