Glass Frost is sequel to the [b:First Frost|15700479|First Frost (First Frost, #1)|Liz DeJesus|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1339384901s/15700479.jpg|21359510]. Although this time our heroes Bianca, Terrance, Ming and Prince Ferdinand will have a new quest to complete and new villain to defeat, I still recommend for you to read First Frost first. You will get better introduction to the characters, country and customs.

All the things I liked and enjoyed in First Frost are present here: Liz DeJesus' easy-to-read writing style and familiar fairy tale characters used to make a new story. There will be seven dwarves, fae queen Titania, big bad wolf, frog prince and many more. Liz DeJesus again reinvents them and puts them in Bianca path. It's fun, original and interesting.

The one thing that I expected more was more new stuff from The Museum of Magical and Rare Artifacts. But Bianca will use mostly the same she used in First Frost. I hoped for more new artifacts and more awesome and cool powers they have.

Those looking forward to more romance will get what they were expecting. Both love stories continue to develop, some of them in unexpected ways. And still no love triangle, insta-love or other things that irritate me in ya novels (yay). The romance is slow, characters think about their actions, talk about their future. There will be some light kissing but not much more, so this series is still safe read for young adults or even teens.

The end of the book is cliffhanger free, quest ends, current mystery resolves but there are some questions left how relationship between characters will continue so I know I can look forward to the sequel and more adventures with Bianca and her friends.

In The End...
Glass Frost was not a disappointment. Very good sequel in to Bianca Frost series. All people who like young adult fantasy featuring fairy tale characters in a new original plot should give it a try.

My rating: 4 stars

I Received An ARC Of This Story In Exchange For My Honest Reveiw!

This book picks up a little after First Frost left off. Terrance has shown up in Bianca's world because Queen Felicia ( Prince Ferdinand's mom) would like to speak to her. Doesn't take long after Bianca and Ming return to Everafter for the Queen to tell Bianca that Cinderella's glass slipper has been stolen and that she needs to find it and return it.

Liz brings the readers back to Everafter for the second installment of the series. While a good portion of the action takes place in Everafter there is some that takes place in the human world. This is some good action that you don't want to miss out on either. We are introduced to a new place in Everafter and I love it. I would love nothing more than to build a little cottage right in the middle and kick out all trespassers. They call on old acquaintenances for help and they even make some new friends along the way. Lets not forget the evil witch because we know that a story isn't a fairy tale unless it has a evil witch.

This series continues to grow and improve with each new book. I can't wait to see what happens next with the characters and series. Thanks Liz for an interesting and enjoyable read.

Now first I must say that this is book 2 in the Frost Series, and I HIGHLY recommend that you read book 1 first. I also must say that one of my favorite stories when my children were young enough for me to read to them was the tale of Cinderella. In fact my youngest Susie, went through a period where she wanted to be called Cindy and dressed in her Cinderella outfit so often she wore it out.

That being said this was nothing at all like what I expected from a Cinderella shoe search! There is a LOT of action in this book, so much so that it will keep you flipping the pages long after you are supposed to be in bed. *fair warning parents this book will suck your child in and you won't get them to bed on time*

Again the Character Creation is fabulous, Bianca is a lovable young lady, Terrance is an interesting male lead and again Ming is just too cute for words. Best friends will follow you to the ends of the world, this one follows Bianca to a new world! How much more besties can they be?

I will NOT go into any details on the story, to do so may slip out a few things that will spoil it, so I will just say I HIGHLY recommend this 5 star read to anyone young or old alike. I think that this story was even more enjoyable than the first book which says something about the Authors talent for writing. The adventures will keep you on the edge of your seat, and will keep you wondering what is going to happen next. I will just say one little teeny tiny thing, I loved the dwarfs and I do so hope we see more of them in future books.

Details/Disclaimer: Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Glass Frost continued the story of Bianca Frost, great-granddaughter of Snow White. This time Bianca must help Prince Ferdinand's mother protect Cinderella's glass slipper from falling into the wrong hands. Another adventure ensues in Everafter with the help of Terrance and Ming. A delightful story, a few parts that could have been added to, but all in all, delightful.
