3.5 stars. I thought it was cute. I like this authors writing style a lot and think her romcoms usually have original story lines with the classic tropes mixed in and this is no different. I thought that it was a cute fake dating plus sunshine and gloomy book. The narrators for the audiobook are also some of my favorites so that was an added bonus. The story was very predictable and I would have liked a better twist at the end but overall very cute and will read another book by this author.

I think it's great, but I would have loved to see more talking details about their lives. It was just so much sex

As far as monster romance goes, pretty tame. I thought it was fine, the characters were fine, the premise was fine. Some of the worldbuilding was just thrown out there and hot expanded upon when it absolutely should have been (the male lead being discriminated against for being an Alpha). I think that monster romance like this kinda has to be fantasy if it's going to be played straight. The setting with the characters feel so incongruous that it's hard to focus on the romance aspect.

This was so cute! Its picks up quick, but slow burns a bit with tension. All the gossipy doctors is so greys anatomy lol then they even watch greys anatomy lol. I enjoyed the pace of this and while theres no crazy epic battle, it was simple, lighthearted, and had a really enjoyable plot. Its like watching a cute little sitcom, where everyone except that one dick gets a happy ending.

🌶️ 4/5 I have never read about the “knot” thing, and suddenly read 2 books back to back where its a thing… so interesting? Coincidence? 🤷‍♀️ i loved their chemistry, and the intensity of it. The spice was pretty hot too 😉
