This was a lot of fun to read. Very well written and with lots of good humour. Definitely looking forward to reading more in this series as well as the other titles by this author.

This was cute and average. When I originally added to my list in October, I was expecting spooky with the ghosts. Not spooky at all. This book has just the one ghost, M.C.'s best friend. Ghost amnesia, can't remember anything related to his death or current cases. Left her everything in his will so she starts training as a P.I. Corrupt cop angle with cute cop on secret task force to bust bad cops. Cute cop supervises her.

I absolutely loved this book! Not only is it well-written, but it is also an imaginative, fun, and easy-to-read page-turner. The klutzy main character, who some have said in reviews is unrealistic, is entirely relatable to me as I have at one time or other suffered the same sorts of accidents that she does in the book. The mystery of who killed her best friend is complex and full of suspects, and although I was fairly certain who the killer was early on, Hinchey does a good job at keeping the reader guessing.
I especially enjoy the conversations with the cat, who is well-spoken and does not 'haz' any poor grammar. I know that if I could speak to my cats, they would be similarly coherent.
I was so impressed, that I went to Amazon and purchased the rest of the series.

Oh, I feel so bad for Audrey from the beginning of this book. What happens with her could happen to anyone. When she met Kade Galloway, my heart almost stopped. Thankfully, her best friend Ben was there a well and able to make introductions. When Ben and Audrey meet up with some former co-workers of Audrey, he heads off to meet up with Kade. What about? What happens the next morning was funny! And a bit sad! While my jury was out on Kade for a while in this story, he started to grow on me. What is even funnier is that he started to grow on Audrey. You'll have to read to see what I mean and why it is funny. Thor is a hoot! There were some completely unexpected twists in this who-dun-it mystery with.a hint of a possible romance. I cannot wait until the next book comes out! This one had me falling off my recliner and crying because I was laughing so hard! Read it!!!!!!!!

This was a fun read. Shorter/less complex than I’d expected so I’m on the fence about reading more, but I do like the main character and I enjoyed the writing style.

It was ok. Over the top, even for a cozy mystery. And I'm clearly the wrong age group for this. Think I'll skip the rest of the series.

I have been a fan of this author for quite a while, and I was glad when she started writing cozy paranormals. This is a new series, and I think it’s probably the best I’ve read by this author. I love the main character who is clumsy, but she still has a great outlook on life, she’s smart, and she’s a go-getter. The author also introduces us to her best friend in a good way, and I love that she is still mourning him even as he’s still around. The attraction between her and Kade was awesome…I just can’t say enough good things about this book. I think this is going to be an excellent series, and I can’t wait to see what’s coming next! Highly recommend! I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
