The story is nice, but I find it very linear, almost a bit boring. Also, the themes all are the sames that Zafon uses in his later books, not much new.

Ya lo he dicho en el libro compilatorio, pero me ha encantado. De momento es el que mas me gusta. Veremos Luces de septiembre qué tal, ya que es el único que leo por primera vez.

Irreverente e rebuscada. Repleta de personagens com um carisma muito próprio. Uma história que nos transmite a importância da família e da amizade, enquanto nos revela o modo como o ódio e a vingança podem consumir tudo o que há de bom.

hace 12 años que no leía este libro, y ya releyéndolo siento que capté unas referencias literarias (tipo Jekyll and Hyde, Star Wars quizás jaja,) de las que el autor toma inspiración

Interesting concept that had potential but was poorly executed. I found myself not forming any connections with the characters; the descriptors were lackluster. With many characters on their own journeys, storylines were not fully developed and the plots felt rushed.
