Much better the second time around...such a strange book to make into a musical, which might explain why all they kept was the character names and the barest outline of the plot!

This was alright. It was a heavy read at time.

This book was okay. Obviously I enjoyed the play more. I'm somewhat familiar with the political interpretations of the wizard of oz and really enjoyed Elphaba's political involvement in the book. There were some lengths of time that I just didn't care about, but managed to stay interested in what happened next. All in all, it just made me want to see Wicked again and listen to the soundtrack.

I genuinely hated this book tbh. That's a rarity for me to say because with most books I don't like, I could see how someone else might like it. This one was genuinely terrible.
