3.75. Loved the dilapidated setting, the anxiety of the mystery and the overall pace. Kept me invested to the last page.

Absolutely gripping, kept me enthralled from beginning to end.

Sarah Alderson weaves a fine thrilling tale that was practically impossible to put down.

This book was fine, but it was on the higher scale of fine.

Undertones of her partner having something to do with it. The foreshadowing was so off-putting that even if he has nothing to do with it, I heavily dislike how his character was written!

Thanks to the author and NetGalley for an advanced copy of this book.

From the very first chapter, this storyline had me hooked. Young newlyweds ventured to an island for their honeymoon…. But they weren’t the only people there. A story with twists and turns when I least expected it, I couldn’t put this book down.
