I really enjoyed this one!

A gothic, sapphic fairytale re-imagining with beauty and the beast vibes mixed with a bit of sleeping beauty. 

The world building was very simple and easy to get on board with, the character dynamics were really well developed, the imagery was magical and enticing, the story had a steady pace, although predictable.

Ideal read for the spooky season!
