Good plot and entertaining mystery. I wanted to know what happens but I just really don’t care about Nesbo’s characters at all. Very flat and unbelievable.

Another nice Harry Hole book from Jo Nesbo which is easy to read and surely author here is surprising readers multiple times. Unfortunately I think this is the first one where some events/plots were too easy to predict spoiling a bit the fun.

Doesn’t reinvent the wheel of the “detective with his own demons must catch a serial killer” genre, but executes it really, really well. Chilling, suspenseful, absorbing.
Maybe because I don’t follow the series but as a stand alone book, this book is hard to read. I don’t feel anything for the characters and the round-about way the story took was, for me long-winded and annoying. I’ll give another title a try and see how I feel.
Fantastic book , on to the next Jo nesbo I think ! Wish I had more time to read it faster
